Rabbi Koplin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University and continued his post-graduate studies in Sociology at the University of California. He also served as the Doctor of Divinity at Hebrew Union College in 1993. He has served as Rabbi for several Florida congregations; including Temple Beth Shalom in Ocala, Temple Beth El in Bradenton, Temple Beth El in Ft. Myers, and Temple Sinai in Sarasota, Florida. Rabbi Koplin has been very involved in adult education, teaching at Lifelong Learning in Longboat Key. He is also on the board of the interfaith organization SMA and Unidos Now, which is the leading organization in advocating equality for Hispanics. He is also “on call” for Jewish patients at both Memorial and Doctors hospitals.
