“I am so proud to know you and the fine work you continue to do to build bridges of understanding and challenge notions of democracy in a land that continues to be questionably free. You are on the pulse of our collective and global anxiety.”
– Rex Ellis, Associate Director Museum of African American Culture, Smithsonian
About FST Forums
This online discussion, developed by Chief Judge Charles E. Williams and moderated by Associate Director-At-Large Kate Alexander and Associate Artist Catherine Randazzo, will serve as a community forum to discuss the plays presented in the FST Mainstage season.
Our Artistic Philosophy states: “Our purpose in producing plays is to bring to life the hibernating conscience of our audience, to bring to surface those “truths” that lie hidden, forgotten or lost in us all, to articulate the unarticulated.” The Ancient Greeks saw theatre as a communal forum where we come together as a society to explore what it means to be alive, to be human.
– Kate Alexander: Forums Director and Associate Director-At-Large at Florida Studio Theatre
