Debra K. Carter, Ph.D., a clinical and forensic psychologist, owns and operates Carter Psychology Center, a comprehensive mental health practice serving patients and the greater Manatee-Sarasota community since 1987.   She is a Supreme Court Certified Mediator and the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of NCPC which offers services to the Mental Health and Legal Communities in North America, Europe and Asia.  Dr. Carter is a leading researcher on the efficacy of alternative dispute resolution interventions and the author of several books, book chapters, and journal articles.   She has received numerous awards for her work in the area of conflict resolution.
