As of May 11, we have come to the difficult conclusion that our Summer Season and Annual Sarasota Improv Festival cannot go on as originally planned. The health and safety of our audience, staff, and artists are paramount. Therefore, we must cancel the Summer Season and Festival.

The good news is that we believe we will be able to do some exciting programming in FST’s Court Cabaret and Bowne’s Lab restaurant environments. We will be announcing this special programming very soon.

We held back as long as we could on cancelling the Summer Season to see how the situation was going to evolve and whether a later start date would be possible. Summer subscribers will automatically have their subscriptions roll over into the 2021 Summer Season. In addition, they will receive special subscriber pricing to this summer’s offerings.

Here at FST we are working hard behind the scenes planning for the future—a future when we can come back together. We are heartened by our audience. Over 75% of you have already renewed your subscriptions for the Winter Season. You, our audience, are our most important asset.
