Bobby Darin was not only a man of many talents, but he also wore many masks. He knew how to make a mob of teenage girls swoon, then turn around and bring a nightclub audience to tears. During his 16 years in the music industry, Bobby checked off almost every genre possible–you name it, he sang it. With so many fans of such different ages, Bobby had the world on a string and he liked it that way.

Bobby was also literally a man of many faces. At some of his shows, Bobby did impressions of celebrities like Cary Grant, Marlon Brando, Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, and Dean Martin. A bona fide entertainer, Darin incorporated comedy into his shows and was quite the jokester. It’s no wonder that he was on The Andy Williams Show and The Bob Hope Show so often!
