Teamsters National Black Caucus and Concert with a Cause are partnering with Visible Men Academy to provide some upcoming events for the community. Visible Men Academy serves students from Manatee and Sarasota Counties from lower income communities.

Teamsters National Black Caucus adopts Visible Men Academy

On Saturday, March 25th at 6:00 pm, Visible Men Academy’s Co Founder and Principal, Neil Phillips, will be an honoree at the Teamsters National Black Caucus’s (TNBC) Fourteenth Annual Educational Awards Banquet Celebration. Phillips will receive theFlame Award, which represents Excellent Services, Perseverance, Leadership and Motivation. The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of (TNBC) has also decided to adopt Visible Men Academy. This gracious honor allows us to advance our mission and inspires our VMA Community on all levels! This year The Teamsters will celebrate 15 years of service with their Annual Awards Banquet and Gala.

This event will be held at the  Hilton Airport Westshore Hotellocated at 2225 N. Lois Ave. in Tampa, FL. Tickets are $70.00.

Concert for a Cause to
Benefit Visible Men Academy

On Saturday, April 8th at 7:30 pm, Nu Jazz and the Soul Sensationswill hold a Concert with a Cause at the Manatee Performing Arts Center in Bradenton. Two great musicians, Dr. Melvin B. Price of MCR Health Services and Dr. Randall C. Morgan of Sarasota Orthopedic Associates share the same love of music and their commitment to serve and support Manatee and Sarasota Counties’ under-privileged. Come out hear the sounds of Nu Jazz and Soul Sensations; all proceeds will benefit Visible Men Academy and the  MCRHS Foundation.
